Subscription & billing terms
All SpiderDog paid plans are subscription-based and bill automatically through Stripe. You can choose between monthly or annual billing during checkout. Annual subscriptions include a discount and bill once per year. Monthly subscriptions bill on the same date each month.
You can upgrade your plan at any time — upgrades are prorated, so you only pay the difference between your current plan and the new plan for the remainder of the billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period, ensuring you keep full access until then.
The Backlink Addon can be added to any paid plan during checkout or later from your billing dashboard. It shares the same billing cycle as your main plan and can be removed independently without affecting your core subscription.
We do not store your payment card details. All transactions are processed securely by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. You can update your payment method, download invoices, or cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal.

Can I change plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade from your billing page at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Do you offer annual discounts?
Yes. Annual billing includes a discount compared to paying monthly. You can switch between monthly and annual billing from your account settings.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure payment processor. Enterprise customers can request invoice-based billing.
Is there a free trial?
Our Free plan lets you audit smaller sites and explore all core features. If you need larger crawls, you can upgrade to a paid plan whenever you are ready.
Do you offer refunds?
Fees are generally non-refundable, but if you experience a billing issue or are dissatisfied, contact our support team and we will review your case.
What happens when I add the Backlink Addon?
The Backlink Addon adds extra referring-domain credits to your plan on top of the included amount. It is billed on the same cycle as your main subscription and can be removed independently at any time.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We use Stripe for all payment processing, which means your card details never touch our servers. Crawl data is stored in your own PostgreSQL database and is never shared with third parties.
